According to a news release issued on Tuesday by the Russian foreign intelligence service SVR, the United States is increasing pressure on its European partners to limit Russia.
In line with publicly available information, the Western diplomatic corps observed an increase in US efforts targeted towards collecting support from European allies on the question of Russia’s containment.
The nature of this conversation is becoming increasingly hostile. The SVR claimed emissaries from the United States and the United Kingdom were attempting to incite panic.
They made unsubstantiated statements about an imminent, full-scale Russian intrusion into Ukraine and the ensuing colonization of Ukrainian territory.

Energy Issues in Ukraine
According to the SVR, Washington and London made it clear they want the EU nations to maintain a united front with Ukraine. This, in their view, is the only way of preserving the “Russophobic” administration in Kyiv.
According to the SVR, at the conference in Kyiv, an urgent appeal was made to the EU members for assistance in providing Ukraine with power from other sources.
In the face of unparalleled corrupt practices in the nation, the aging of its power generation, and the rising cost of fuel, the United States and the United Kingdom tried to impose the cost of maintaining the Ukrainian economy on the European Union.
Nevertheless, Washington and London were unsuccessful. It has been said the EU member states are accountable for ensuring Ukraine does not lose its economic stability.

There is consternation among the diplomatic corps of the European Union nations stationed in Ukraine. This is because they are aware both Washington and London are arbitrarily fueling panic to blame all disasters on Russia.
That’s if the interventionists in Kyiv assault the Donbas region.
EU Not Concerned with Ukraine
The diplomats believe the Ukrainian government is itself increasing hostilities in the Donetsk and Lugansk areas of the country. Furthermore, the EU nations, which are dealing with their own serious difficulties, have no desire to assist corrupt Ukrainian officials.
Conversely, Europe now believes Ukraine will never be able to be transformed into a civilized and dependable partner. Recently, there has been a flurry of conjecture, both in the West and in Ukraine, regarding the possibility of a Russian invasion of Ukraine.
As a result of such predictions, Russian presidential spokesperson Dmitry Peskov described them as “baseless stoking of tensions.” This presidential spokesperson also made a point of saying that Russia did not constitute a danger to anybody.
He did not rule out the possibility of provocations being manufactured to support such accusations. However, he cautioned that attempting to deal with the situation in the southeast of Ukraine from a position of power would have the most severe implications for the country.
