Mary Trump: Bad Things Are Going to Happen If The DOJ Doesn’t Prosecute Trump Within A Week

As the midterm vote totals trickled in on Wednesday, Mary Trump, the former president’s niece, issued a grave warning.

Trump discussed the midterm outcomes and the likelihood of the former leader making another run for the White House as a guest on SiriusXM’s The Dean Obeidallah Show less than a week from now.

Calling For His Arrest

Trump said she hoped the Justice Department would make its decision on whether to prosecute the 45th president quickly during their meeting.

Obeidallah probed further, wanting to know if she had faith in the “near future” as well as “tomorrow.” He wanted to know if any of Donald Trump’s offenses would result in an indictment.

Mary forewarned that she was unsure of her level of optimism but that all she can assert was that he must be. She went on to say that she has no idea if he will be, but that if he isn’t, then far worse things will begin to occur.

Mary Trump then changed the subject to Republican Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and his opposition to Department of Justice poll watchers.

She seemed to be trying to draw a connection between DeSantis and Trump by saying that this has nothing to do with Donald personally but that they are aware that the DOJ has been deploying officers around the nation to watch dangerous regions.

She claimed that this was occurring at some polling places where they were receiving complaints and that this was being prevented by Ron DeSantis.

Ron DeSantis, Too?

She continued, saying he had no authority to bar their entry. It should be stressed that the federal law supersedes the state legislation of DeSantis in this case.

He has to be led away from the scene in handcuffs because he is meddling with the Department of Justice’s efforts to ensure a fair election in Florida, Trump claimed.

Mary Trump has suggested that the amount of information gathered by the DOJ and the severity of steps Trump may take in retribution will determine whether or not the former president is indicted.

She speculated that it boils down to whether or not they believe they have sufficient evidence to indict, which she thought was startling if they didn’t. Because she assumes that everyone knows they did that around two years ago.

Trump noted that yet another thing is — if they recognize what Donald’s about to do in regards to playing this quite callous card of announcing in order to paint all criticism as partisan Democrat tricks.

The DOJ, in her estimation, has roughly a week to act. They have no patience in waiting for Donald to make an announcement. So, once again, whether they are optimistic about the outcome or not, it is what they must do.
