A liberal US District Judge appointed by former Democrat President Barack Obama has blocked the implementation of anti-Marxist-Communist state legislation championed by Florida’s Republican Governor Ron DeSantis, more widely known as the “Stop WOKE” law.
DeSantis Moved to Hamper Rampant Wokeism and Transgenderism
The so-called Stop WOKE Act was adopted by Florida’s Republican-led legislature and signed by Governor Ron DeSantis in April of this year in a bid to stop the rampant wokeist and transgenderist indoctrination and other Marxist-Communist propaganda in educational institutions in the Sunshine State.
The Stop the Wrongs to Our Kids and Employees Act was designed by the Florida Republicans to limit race and “gender” lessons in Florida colleges and universities in order to tackle the spread of the overtly racist “critical race theory.”
This and other anti-American and anti-Western teachings otherwise worthy of the best traditions of the former Soviet Union, Communist China, and North Korea.
The advent of the administration of President Joe “Multiple Crises” Biden nearly two years ago saw an explosion of wokeism and transgenderism as far-left Commie progressivists conquered the Democratic Party from within and practically got to dominate both the legislative and executive branches of the US government.
The Stop WOKE Act codified into Florida law the state education department’s ban on “critical race theory” in schools and higher education institutions.
However, in September, a leftist nonprofit, FIRE (Foundation for Individual Rights and Expressions) took legal action against the law claiming it limited free speech on college and university campuses.
Paradoxically, FIRE plaintiff Adriana Novoa, a University of Florida history professor, complained that the anti-wokeist indoctrination law was “manipulating” public education in order to “push … ideology.”

“If we do not let our priests of democracy…”
That, invocation of teachers as priests, as they struck down of a bill designed to prevent ideology being taught.

Truly Dystopian: Invoking Orwell to Defend Orwellianism
US Chief District Judge Mark Walker based in Tallahassee, Florida, ruled on Thursday on FIRE’s lawsuit by blocking the implementation of the Stop WOKE Act on Florida’s college and university campuses, The Daily Mail reported.
In a 138-page order, Walker went so far as to shield Marxist-Communist indoctrination in today’s America, in this case in Florida in particular, by quoting anti-totalitarian book “1984” by British author George Orwell.
Never mind that “1984” was written precisely to expose totalitarianism of both the far-right and far-left varieties, the latter being the kind pushed upon the American public by today’s Commie progressivist Democratic Party.
The Obama appointee argued that Florida’s anti-wokeism law “officially bans professors” on college campuses from “expressing disfavored viewpoints.”
Never mind that it is the far-left ideology that seeks to stifle any opposing viewpoints that defend the sanctity of Western Civilization and the American republic and democracy.
Governor Ron DeSantis’ press secretary, Bryan Griffin, announced that the state administration intended to appeal the woke judge’s ruling.
He even stated that even Walker’s order contained “several victories” for the state’s legal team, and that the DeSantis administration expected to win more and to “ultimately prevail in this litigation.”
When he signed the Stop WOKE bill into state law in April, DeSantis, who just got reelected in a landslide last week, blasted the leftist “indoctrination” running rampant in American educational institutions.
He vowed to defend Florida’s freedom “from oppressive ideologies” that were getting imposed on its residents without their consent in classrooms and at workplaces.
The Stop WOKE Act faces several more lawsuits by the American Civil Liberties Union and its Florida chapter, among others.
