The presentation of the unknown kid who happens to be female, of North Korea’s dictator Kim Jong Un at a rocket launch facility has generated considerable curiosity in a 4th generation member of the family that has ruled North Korea for the past 70 years.
Daughter Revealed
The North’s state-run press said on the 19th that Kim, his spouse Ri Sol Ju, and other dignitaries had watched the deployment of a brand-new form of internationally capable ballistic weapon the previous day.
Kim declared that the unveiling of the Hwasong-17, the North’s longest-range nuclear weapon, proved he possesses a reliable weapon to confront American-led military intervention.
The primary Rodong Sinmun newspaper also published multiple images of Kim witnessing a rising rocket from a distance with his female child.
Other images had her wearing her hair pulled away from her face, wearing a white overcoat and scarlet slippers, and strolling with her father in front of a large rocket atop a vehicle used for firing rockets.
It is the only occasion in which North Korea’s state-run press has written about or photographed the daughter. KCNA did not offer additional information about her.

Kim’s personal life is largely a mystery. According to South Korean press, Kim wedded former singer Ri in the year 2009, and the pair has three children together born in 2010, 2013, and 2017.
Unknown was which child Kim allowed to attend the launch facility. After visiting Pyongyang in 2013, former NBA star Dennis Rodman said to the Guardian, that he and Kim enjoyed soothing leisure by the ocean with the commander’s family and that he cradled Kim’s infant daughter, Ju Ae.

The identity of Kim’s offspring are of great curiosity to outsiders, given leader, who is nearing 40, has not openly designated an eventual replacement.
In 2020, when he withdrew from public view for a timeframe amid alleged allegations about his well being, a international press storm ensued about who would succeed him as leader of a poor, nuclear-armed state.
